1. The second lot came out for Simeon, for the tribe of Simeon by their clans. Their inheritance lay within the inheritance of the people of Judah.
2. Their inheritance included Beersheba, Sheba, Moladah,
3. Hazar-shual, Balah, Ezem,
4. Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,
5. Ziklag, Beth-marcaboth, Hazar-susah,
6. Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteen towns with their villages;
7. Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan: four towns with their villages;
8. and all the villages around these towns as far as Baalath-beer, Ramah of the Negev. This is the inheritance of the tribe of Simeon by their clans.
9. The inheritance of the people of Simeon was taken from the share of the people of Judah, because the portion of the people of Judah was too large for them. So the people of Simeon received their inheritance within Judah’s inheritance.

27. Then it turned east, toward the sunrise, to Beth-dagon, touched Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtah-el to the north, at Beth-emek and Neiel, and went out on the north to Cabul,

29. Then the border turned to Ramah and to the fortified city of Tyre. Then the border turned to Hosah and ended at the sea, in the region of Achzib.
30. It also included Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two towns with their villages.
31. This is the inheritance of the tribe of Asher by their clans, these towns with their villages.
32. The sixth lot came out for the people of Naphtali, for the people of Naphtali by their clans.
33. Their border ran from Heleph, from the oak in Zaanannim, past Adami-nekeb and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum, and it ended at the Jordan.
34. Then the border turned west to Aznoth-tabor and went out from there to Hukkok. It touched Zebulun on the south and Asher on the west, and Judah at the Jordan toward the sunrise.
35. The fortified towns were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,
36. Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,
37. Kedesh, Edrei, En-hazor,
38. Yiron, Migdal-el, Horem, Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh: nineteen towns with their villages.

40. The seventh lot came out for the tribe of Dan by their clans.

47. When the territory of the people of Dan was lost to them, the people of Dan went up and fought against Leshem. They captured it, struck it down with the sword, took possession of it, and settled in it, and they renamed Leshem Dan, after the name of Dan their ancestor.

49. When they had finished distributing the land as an inheritance by its territories, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun an inheritance among them.
50. At Yahweh’s command they gave him the town he asked for, Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim. He built up the town and settled in it.
