1. Yahweh spoke to Moses:
2. “When anyone sins and acts unfaithfully against Yahweh by deceiving his neighbor about something entrusted to him or left as a pledge, or about something stolen, or if he has extorted from his neighbor,
3. or has found something lost and lied about it, and swears falsely about any of the things a person may do and so sin—
4. when he has sinned and is guilty, he must return what he stole, or what he took by extortion, or what was entrusted to him, or the lost thing he found,
5. or anything about which he swore falsely. He must repay it in full, add a fifth to it, and give it to the one it belongs to on the day he acknowledges his guilt.
6. Then he is to bring to the priest his guilt offering to Yahweh: a ram without defect from the flock, at your valuation, as a guilt offering.
7. The priest will make atonement for him before Yahweh, and he will be forgiven for any of the things he may have done that made him guilty.”
8. Yahweh spoke to Moses:
9. “Command Aaron and his sons: This is the law of the burnt offering. The burnt offering is to stay on the hearth on the altar all night until morning, and the fire of the altar is to be kept burning on it.
10. The priest is to put on his linen robe, with linen undergarments on his body, and he is to remove the ashes of the burnt offering that the fire has consumed on the altar and put them beside the altar.
11. Then he is to take off his garments and put on other garments, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a clean place.
12. The fire on the altar is to be kept burning on it; it must not go out. Every morning the priest is to burn wood on it, arrange the burnt offering on it, and burn the fat of the fellowship offerings on it.
13. Fire is to be kept burning on the altar continually; it must not go out.
14. This is the law of the grain offering: Aaron’s sons are to present it before Yahweh, in front of the altar.
15. The priest is to take from it a handful of the fine flour of the grain offering and its oil, with all the frankincense that is on the grain offering, and burn it on the altar as a pleasing aroma, its memorial portion to Yahweh.
16. Aaron and his sons are to eat what is left of it. It is to be eaten unleavened in a holy place; they are to eat it in the courtyard of the tent of meeting.
17. It must not be baked with yeast. I have given it to them as their share of my fire offerings. It is most holy, like the sin offering and the guilt offering.
18. Every male among Aaron’s descendants may eat it. It is their permanent share throughout your generations from the fire offerings to Yahweh. Whatever touches them will become holy.”
19. Yahweh spoke to Moses:
20. “This is the offering that Aaron and his sons are to present to Yahweh on the day he is anointed: a tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a regular grain offering, half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening.
21. It is to be made with oil on a griddle. Bring it well mixed, and present the grain offering in baked pieces as a pleasing aroma to Yahweh.
22. The priest from among his sons who is anointed to succeed him is to prepare it. It is a permanent statute: it is to be burned completely to Yahweh.
23. Every grain offering of a priest is to be burned completely; it must not be eaten.”
24. Yahweh spoke to Moses:
25. “Speak to Aaron and his sons: This is the law of the sin offering. The sin offering is to be slaughtered before Yahweh in the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered. It is most holy.
26. The priest who offers it as a sin offering is to eat it. It is to be eaten in a holy place, in the courtyard of the tent of meeting.
27. Whatever touches its flesh will become holy, and if any of its blood is spattered on a garment, you must wash the spattered part in a holy place.
28. The clay pot it is boiled in must be broken; but if it is boiled in a bronze pot, the pot must be scoured and rinsed with water.
29. Every male among the priests may eat it; it is most holy.
30. But no sin offering whose blood is brought into the tent of meeting to make atonement in the holy place may be eaten; it must be burned in the fire.
