1. This is the law of the guilt offering; it is most holy.
2. The guilt offering is to be slaughtered in the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered, and its blood is to be splashed against the altar on all sides.
3. He is to offer all its fat: the fat tail, the fat that covers the entrails,
4. the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he is to remove with the kidneys.
5. The priest is to burn them on the altar as a fire offering to Yahweh. It is a guilt offering.
6. Every male among the priests may eat it. It is to be eaten in a holy place; it is most holy.
7. The guilt offering is like the sin offering; there is one law for both. It belongs to the priest who makes atonement with it.
8. The priest who offers anyone’s burnt offering may keep for himself the hide of the burnt offering he has offered.
9. Every grain offering baked in the oven, and every one prepared in a pan or on a griddle, belongs to the priest who offers it.
10. And every grain offering, whether mixed with oil or dry, belongs to all the sons of Aaron, to each one alike.
11. This is the law of the sacrifice of fellowship offerings that may be offered to Yahweh.
12. If someone offers it as an expression of thanks, then along with the thanksgiving sacrifice he is to offer unleavened loaves mixed with oil, unleavened wafers spread with oil, and loaves of fine flour well mixed with oil.
13. He is to present his offering with loaves of leavened bread along with his thanksgiving sacrifice of fellowship offerings.
14. From it he is to present one of each kind of offering as a contribution to Yahweh; it belongs to the priest who splashes the blood of the fellowship offerings.
15. The meat of his thanksgiving sacrifice of fellowship offerings must be eaten on the day it is offered; he must not leave any of it until morning.
16. But if the sacrifice he offers is for a vow or is a freewill offering, it is to be eaten on the day he offers his sacrifice, and what is left of it may be eaten on the next day.
17. Whatever is left of the meat of the sacrifice on the third day must be burned in the fire.
18. If any of the meat of his sacrifice of fellowship offerings is eaten at all on the third day, it will not be accepted, and it will not be credited to the one who offered it. It is tainted meat, and the person who eats any of it will bear their guilt.
19. Meat that touches anything unclean must not be eaten; it must be burned in the fire. As for other meat, anyone who is clean may eat it.
20. But if anyone who is unclean eats meat from the sacrifice of fellowship offerings that belongs to Yahweh, that person must be cut off from their people.
21. If anyone touches anything unclean, whether human uncleanness, or an unclean animal, or any unclean detestable thing, and then eats any of the meat of the sacrifice of fellowship offerings that belongs to Yahweh, that person must be cut off from their people.”
22. Yahweh spoke to Moses:
23. “Speak to the Israelites: You must not eat any fat of an ox, a sheep, or a goat.
24. The fat of an animal that died on its own and the fat of one torn by wild animals may be used for any other purpose, but you must certainly not eat it.
25. Anyone who eats the fat of an animal from which a fire offering may be presented to Yahweh—the person who eats it must be cut off from their people.
26. You must not eat any blood, whether of bird or of animal, wherever you live.
27. Anyone who eats any blood—that person must be cut off from their people.”
28. Yahweh spoke to Moses:
29. “Speak to the Israelites: Whoever offers his sacrifice of fellowship offerings to Yahweh is to bring his offering to Yahweh from his sacrifice of fellowship offerings.
30. His own hands are to bring the fire offerings to Yahweh. He is to bring the fat together with the breast, and the breast is to be waved as a wave offering before Yahweh.
31. The priest is to burn the fat on the altar, but the breast belongs to Aaron and his sons.
32. You are to give the right thigh to the priest as a contribution from your sacrifices of fellowship offerings.
33. The son of Aaron who offers the blood and the fat of the fellowship offerings is to have the right thigh as his portion.
34. For I have taken the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution from the Israelites, from their sacrifices of fellowship offerings, and I have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons as their permanent share from the Israelites.”
35. This is the portion of Aaron and the portion of his sons from the fire offerings to Yahweh, from the day they were presented to serve as priests to Yahweh.
36. On the day he anointed them, Yahweh commanded that the Israelites give this to them. It is a permanent statute throughout their generations.
37. This is the law for the burnt offering, the grain offering, the sin offering, the guilt offering, the ordination offering, and the sacrifice of fellowship offerings,
38. which Yahweh commanded Moses on Mount Sinai on the day he commanded the Israelites to present their offerings to Yahweh in the wilderness of Sinai.
