1. Yahweh said to Moses,
2. “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: When you enter the land where you are to live, which I am giving you,
3. and you present to Yahweh a fire offering from the herd or from the flock as a pleasing aroma to Yahweh, whether a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfill a special vow or as a freewill offering or at your appointed festivals,
4. then whoever brings the offering is to present to Yahweh a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil.
5. With the burnt offering or the sacrifice for each lamb, you are also to prepare a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering.
6. For a ram, prepare a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil,
7. and present a third of a hin of wine as a drink offering, a pleasing aroma to Yahweh.
8. When you prepare a young bull as a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfill a special vow or as a fellowship offering to Yahweh,
9. present with the bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil,
10. and present half a hin of wine as a drink offering. It is a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to Yahweh.
11. This is how it is to be done for each bull or ram, and for each lamb or young goat.
12. However many you prepare, do this for each one, according to their number.
13. Every native-born Israelite is to do these things in this way when presenting a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to Yahweh.
14. If a foreigner is living among you, or anyone else who lives among you in future generations, and that person presents a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to Yahweh, they are to do just as you do.
15. The assembly is to have one statute for you and for the foreigner who lives among you, a permanent statute throughout your generations. You and the foreigner are to be alike before Yahweh.
16. The same law and the same regulation will apply to you and to the foreigner who lives among you.”
17. Yahweh said to Moses,
18. “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: When you come into the land where I am bringing you,
19. and you eat the food of the land, you are to set aside a contribution for Yahweh.
20. From the first of your dough you are to set aside a loaf as a contribution. Set it aside as you do the contribution from the threshing floor.
21. Throughout your generations you are to give Yahweh a contribution from the first of your dough.
22. Now if you unintentionally go wrong and fail to keep all these commandments that Yahweh has spoken to Moses,
23. everything that Yahweh has commanded you through Moses, from the day Yahweh gave the commands and on through your generations,
24. and if it was done unintentionally, without the congregation being aware of it, then the whole congregation is to offer one young bull as a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma to Yahweh, with its grain offering and its drink offering as prescribed, and one male goat as a sin offering.
25. The priest is to make atonement for the whole congregation of the Israelites, and they will be forgiven, because it was unintentional, and they have brought their offering, a fire offering to Yahweh, and their sin offering before Yahweh for their unintentional wrong.
26. The whole congregation of the Israelites will be forgiven, and so will the foreigner who lives among them, because all the people were involved in the unintentional wrong.
27. If one person sins unintentionally, that person is to offer a year-old female goat as a sin offering.
28. The priest is to make atonement before Yahweh for the person who went wrong by sinning unintentionally. When atonement has been made for that person, they will be forgiven.
29. You are to have one law for anyone who does wrong unintentionally, whether a native-born Israelite or a foreigner who lives among them.
30. But anyone who acts defiantly, whether native-born or foreigner, blasphemes Yahweh. That person must be cut off from among their people.
31. Because that person has despised the word of Yahweh and broken his commandment, they must be completely cut off. Their guilt remains on them.”
32. While the Israelites were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering wood on the Sabbath day.
33. Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and to the whole congregation.
34. They put him in custody, because it had not been made clear what should be done to him.
35. Then Yahweh said to Moses, “The man must be put to death. The whole congregation is to stone him outside the camp.”
36. So the whole congregation took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, just as Yahweh had commanded Moses.
37. Yahweh said to Moses,
38. “Speak to the Israelites and tell them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a blue cord on the tassel at each corner.
39. You will have these tassels to look at, and so you will remember all Yahweh’s commandments and do them, and you will not follow your own heart and your own eyes, which lead you to prostitute yourselves.
40. This way you will remember and do all my commandments, and you will be holy to your God.
41. I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God. I am Yahweh your God.”
