1. Blessed is the one who does not walk by the advice of the wicked, or stand on the path of sinners, or sit where mockers gather.
2. Instead, Yahweh’s law is their delight, and they ponder his law day and night.
3. Such a person is like a tree planted by channels of water, which bears its fruit when its season comes and whose leaf does not wither; in everything they do, they succeed.
4. The wicked are not like this; they are like chaff that the wind blows away.
5. That is why the wicked will not hold their ground in the judgment, nor sinners in the gathering of the righteous.
6. For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked ends in ruin.
