*Of David. A psalm.*

1. I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, Yahweh, I will sing praises.
2. I will pay careful attention to the blameless way. When will you come to me? I will walk with integrity of heart within my house.
3. I will not set anything worthless before my eyes. I hate the work of those who turn aside; it will not cling to me.
4. A crooked heart will be far from me; I will have nothing to do with evil.
5. Whoever secretly slanders a neighbor, I will destroy; whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart, I will not tolerate.
6. My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, so that they may live with me; whoever walks in the blameless way will serve me.
7. No one who practices deceit will live within my house; no one who speaks lies will stand in my sight.
8. Morning by morning I will destroy all the wicked in the land, to cut off all evildoers from the city of Yahweh.
