1. I love Yahweh, because he hears my voice, my pleas for mercy.
2. Because he has turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.
3. The cords of death entangled me; the anguish of Sheol came upon me; I found distress and sorrow.
4. Then I called on the name of Yahweh: “Please, Yahweh, save my life!”
5. Yahweh is gracious and righteous; our God is compassionate.
6. Yahweh protects the simple; when I was brought low, he saved me.
7. Return to your rest, my soul, for Yahweh has dealt generously with you.
8. For you have rescued my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.
9. I will walk before Yahweh in the land of the living.
10. I kept believing, even when I said, “I am greatly afflicted,”
11. when I said in my alarm, “Everyone is a liar.”
12. What can I give back to Yahweh for all his goodness to me?
13. I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of Yahweh.
14. I will fulfill my vows to Yahweh in the presence of all his people.
15. Precious in the sight of Yahweh is the death of his faithful ones.
16. Please, Yahweh, I am truly your servant; I am your servant, the son of your maidservant. You have loosed my chains.
17. I will offer you a sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of Yahweh.
18. I will fulfill my vows to Yahweh in the presence of all his people,
19. in the courts of the house of Yahweh, in your midst, Jerusalem. Hallelujah!
