*For the choir director. Of David. To bring to remembrance.*

1. God, come to rescue me; Yahweh, hurry to help me!
2. Let those who seek my life be put to shame and humiliated; let those who delight in my harm be turned back and disgraced.
3. Let those who say, “Aha! Aha!” turn back because of their shame.
4. Let all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; let those who love your salvation always say, “God is great!”
5. But I am afflicted and needy; God, hurry to me! You are my help and my deliverer; Yahweh, do not delay.
