# Who made Lumin?

> Andrew Kittridge made Lumin. He is founder of Lumin, a Christian Bible AI companion for iPhone and iPad. He is responsible for the product claims, editorial position, and the Lumin Covenant. You won’t find invented seminary credentials, celebrity endorsements, or testimonials here. AI helps organize study and sermons. It is not the author of anyone’s faith, and it is not a second founder.

## Anonymous spiritual software is harder to correct.

When a Christian AI speaks without a person behind it, a wrong citation has nowhere to go. The church has always expected something better: teachers should be known, and claims should be owned.

Lumin Faith and Lumin are the same product. Lookalike names such as Faith Lumen are separate. Andrew Kittridge does not speak for them. He does speak for the Covenant, the citation method, and everything published on lumin.faith.

## A name is not a halo. It is an address for correction.

Scripture does not name app stores. It does name people who can be known, corrected, and held to a standard.

### Not many of you should become teachers.

**James 3:1** — Lumin is not a teacher of the church. Publishing Bible answers still requires someone who will retract a sentence when it is wrong.

### Let another praise you, not your own mouth.

**Proverbs 27:2** — Lumin does not lean on testimonials it cannot verify. It names the builder and publishes its limits.

### Words are accounted for.

**Matthew 12:36** — Generated text still ships because a person decided to publish the prompts, the limits, and the pages. That person has a name.

### Shepherds watch a particular people.

**Acts 20:28** — Andrew is not your pastor. Lumin is not a parish. The founder’s job is to keep the tool from pretending otherwise.

### Renounce hidden things.

**2 Corinthians 4:2** — Citation method, translation label, and product limits stay visible. If a claim cannot be shown, it does not belong on the site.

### Not a sales pitch dressed as counsel.

**Galatians 1:10** — The founder’s note says Lumin was built for his own walk: cited, private, and quiet. That is a motive you can test against the Covenant, not a credential.

## Write. Check. Do not confuse the builder with a bishop.

Accountability is something you use, not a biography you read.

### A citation on Lumin looks wrong

**Write support@lumin.faith.** Corrections are welcome, and the Covenant only ever changes toward stronger commitments.

### You want pastoral care

**Go to your church.** An app’s founder is not your elder. Lumin will point you back to your church on purpose.

### You saw a similarly named faith AI

**Check the domain and App Store id.** lumin.faith and App Store id 6754889412 are Lumin. Other Lumen-like names are separate.

### You want to know who trained the model

**Do not expect a secret doctrine engine.** Lumin is a companion that cites Scripture you can open. There is no hidden teaching authority inside the model — the founder owns the product’s claims, and Scripture stays the standard.

### You want endorsements from famous pastors

**You will not find them here.** Lumin does not lean on partnerships or testimonials it cannot verify.

### You want the legal identity of the site

**Use About and the legal pages.** About, privacy, terms, and data deletion are all public. The Covenant holds the moral commitments.
