Lumin Translation
John 1
Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made
It concerns the word of life: what was there from the beginning, what we have heard, what our own eyes have seen, what we have gazed on and our hands have handled.
That life was made visible; we have seen it, we bear witness to it, and we announce to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was made visible to us.
What we have seen and heard we are announcing to you too, so that you also may share fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.
We write these things so that our joy will be full.
Here is the message we heard from him and now pass on to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all.
If we say that we share fellowship with him but keep walking in the darkness, we are lying, and we are not doing what is true.
But if we walk in the light, just as he himself is in the light, then we share fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus his Son makes us clean from every sin.
If we say that we are free of sin, we are leading ourselves astray, and the truth is not within us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous: he will forgive our sins and make us clean from every kind of unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, we are making him a liar, and his word is not within us.
