I commend to you our sister Phoebe, who is also a servant of the church in Cenchreae,
so that you may welcome her in the Lord in a way worthy of the saints and help her in whatever she may need from you. For she herself has been a benefactor of many, including me.
Greet Prisca and Aquila, my co-workers in Christ Jesus,
who risked their own necks for my life. Not only I but also all the churches of the Gentiles give thanks for them.
Greet also the church that meets in their house. Greet my dear friend Epaenetus, who was the firstfruits of Asia for Christ.
Greet Mary, who has worked very hard for you.
Greet Andronicus and Junia, my fellow Jews who were in prison with me. They are outstanding among the apostles, and they were in Christ before I was.
Greet Ampliatus, my dear friend in the Lord.
Greet Urbanus, our co-worker in Christ, and my dear friend Stachys.
Greet Apelles, who is approved in Christ. Greet those who belong to the household of Aristobulus.
Greet my fellow Jew Herodion. Greet those in the household of Narcissus who are in the Lord.
Greet Tryphaena and Tryphosa, who work hard in the Lord. Greet dear Persis, who has worked very hard in the Lord.
Greet Rufus, chosen in the Lord, and his mother, who has been a mother to me as well.
Greet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, and the brothers and sisters who are with them.
Greet Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints who are with them.
Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.
I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.
For such people are not serving our Lord Christ but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting.
For everyone has heard of your obedience, so I rejoice over you. But I want you to be wise about what is good and innocent about what is evil.
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
Timothy, my co-worker, greets you, and so do Lucius, Jason, and Sosipater, my fellow Jews.
I, Tertius, who wrote down this letter, greet you in the Lord.
Gaius, who is host to me and to the whole church, greets you. Erastus, the city treasurer, and our brother Quartus greet you.
[The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.]
Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages
but has now been disclosed, and through the prophetic Scriptures has been made known to all the nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith—
to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be the glory forever. Amen.
