Song of Solomon 4
Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made
How beautiful you are, my darling! How beautiful you are! Your eyes behind your veil are doves. Your hair is like a flock of goats streaming down from Mount Gilead.
Your teeth are like a flock of shorn ewes that have come up from the washing; all of them bear twins, and not one among them has lost its young.
Your lips are like a scarlet thread, and your mouth is lovely. Your cheeks behind your veil are like halves of a pomegranate.
Your neck is like the tower of David, built in courses of stone; a thousand shields hang on it, all of them shields of warriors.
Your two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle, that graze among the lilies.
Until the day breathes and the shadows flee, I will go to the mountain of myrrh and to the hill of frankincense.
You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.
Come with me from Lebanon, my bride, come with me from Lebanon. Look down from the peak of Amana, from the peak of Senir and Hermon, from the dens of lions, from the mountains of leopards.
You have stolen my heart, my sister, my bride; you have stolen my heart with one glance of your eyes, with one jewel of your necklace.
How beautiful is your love, my sister, my bride! How much better is your love than wine, and the fragrance of your oils than any spice!
Your lips drip honey from the comb, my bride; honey and milk are under your tongue, and the fragrance of your garments is like the fragrance of Lebanon.
A garden locked up is my sister, my bride, a spring locked up, a fountain sealed.
Your shoots are an orchard of pomegranates with choice fruits, henna with nard,
nard and saffron, calamus and cinnamon, with every kind of incense tree, myrrh and aloes, with all the finest spices.
You are a fountain in the gardens, a well of living water, streams flowing down from Lebanon.
Awake, north wind, and come, south wind! Blow on my garden; let its spices flow. Let my beloved come into his garden and eat its choice fruits.
