Song of Solomon 6

Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made

Where has your beloved gone, most beautiful of women? Which way has your beloved turned, that we may seek him with you?

My beloved has gone down to his garden, to the beds of spices, to graze in the gardens and to gather lilies.

I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine; he grazes among the lilies.

You are as beautiful as Tirzah, my darling, as lovely as Jerusalem, as awe-inspiring as an army with banners.

Turn your eyes away from me, for they overwhelm me. Your hair is like a flock of goats streaming down from Gilead.

Your teeth are like a flock of ewes that have come up from the washing; all of them bear twins, and not one among them has lost its young.

Your cheeks behind your veil are like halves of a pomegranate.

There are sixty queens and eighty concubines, and young women without number.

But my dove, my perfect one, is unique, the only one of her mother, the favorite of the one who bore her. The young women saw her and called her blessed; the queens and concubines praised her:

“Who is this who looks down like the dawn, beautiful as the moon, bright as the sun, awe-inspiring as an army with banners?”

I went down to the grove of nut trees to look at the new growth in the valley, to see whether the vine had budded, whether the pomegranates were in bloom.

Before I knew it, my desire set me among the chariots of my noble people.

Come back, come back, Shulammite; come back, come back, that we may look at you! Why would you look at the Shulammite, as at the dance of the two camps?
