Jeremiah 45

Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made

1This is the word that the prophet Jeremiah spoke to Baruch son of Neriah, when he wrote these words in a scroll at Jeremiah’s dictation in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah:

2“This is what Yahweh, the God of Israel, says to you, Baruch:

3You said, ‘Woe is me, for Yahweh has added grief to my pain! I am worn out with my groaning, and I find no rest.’

4This is what you are to say to him: ‘This is what Yahweh says: What I have built I am tearing down, and what I have planted I am uprooting, and that means the whole land.

5And you, are you seeking great things for yourself? Do not seek them. For I am about to bring disaster on all people, declares Yahweh, but wherever you go I will give you your life as your spoil of war.’”
