Revelation 14
Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made
Then I looked, and there was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him were 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.
And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. The sound I heard was like harpists playing on their harps.
They were singing what seemed to be a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been purchased from the earth.
These are the ones who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were purchased from among humankind as firstfruits for God and for the Lamb,
and no lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.
Then I saw another angel flying in midair, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people.
He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship the one who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.”
Another angel, a second, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, who made all the nations drink the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality.”
Then another angel, a third, followed them, saying in a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on their forehead or on their hand,
they too will drink the wine of God’s fury, poured out full strength into the cup of his wrath, and they will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
The smoke of their torment rises forever and ever, and there is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.”
This calls for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and hold to faith in Jesus.
Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “so that they may rest from their labors, for their works go with them.”
Then I looked, and there was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.
Another angel came out of the temple, calling in a loud voice to the one seated on the cloud, “Swing your sickle and reap, for the hour to reap has come, because the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.”
So the one seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.
Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle.
And another angel, the one who has authority over fire, came out from the altar, and he called in a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, “Swing your sharp sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe.”
So the angel swung his sickle over the earth and gathered the grapes from the vine of the earth, and he threw them into the great winepress of God’s fury.
The winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood flowed out of the winepress as high as the horses’ bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia.
