Revelation 19

Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made

After this I heard what sounded like the loud voice of a great crowd in heaven, saying, “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,

because his judgments are true and just. He has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and he has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”

A second time they said, “Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up forever and ever.”

The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who is seated on the throne, saying, “Amen. Hallelujah!”

Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, small and great.”

Then I heard what sounded like the voice of a great crowd, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, has begun to reign.

Let us rejoice and be glad and give him the glory, because the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready.

She has been given fine linen, bright and pure, to clothe herself in.” For the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

Then he said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”

I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

Then I saw heaven standing open, and there was a white horse. Its rider is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.

His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many royal crowns. He has a name written that no one knows except himself.

He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is the Word of God.

The armies of heaven were following him on white horses, dressed in fine linen, white and pure.

From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. He will shepherd them with an iron rod, and he treads the winepress of the wine of the furious wrath of God the Almighty.

On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written: King of kings and Lord of lords.

Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he called out in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God,

so that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of commanders, the flesh of the mighty, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small and great.”

Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered to make war against the rider on the horse and against his army.

The beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs in its presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

The rest were killed by the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds ate their fill of their flesh.
