Revelation 22

Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made

Next he showed me a river of the water of life, sparkling like crystal, pouring out from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

In the middle of the city’s street, and on both sides of the river, grew the tree of life, producing twelve harvests of fruit and giving its fruit each month. The tree’s leaves are for healing the nations.

There will no longer be anything accursed. God’s throne and the Lamb’s will be in the city, and his servants will serve him in worship.

They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

Night will be gone for good. They will have no need of lamplight or sunlight, because the Lord God will shine his light on them, and they will reign forever and ever.

Then he told me, “These words are reliable and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants the things that must happen soon.

Look, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who holds on to the words of the prophecy in this book.”

It is I, John, who heard and saw these things. When I had heard and seen them, I fell down in worship before the feet of the angel who was showing them to me.

But he told me, “Do not do this! I am a fellow servant with you, with your brothers and sisters the prophets, and with those who hold on to the words of this book. Worship God.”

He also told me, “Do not put a seal on the words of the prophecy in this book, because the time is near.

Let the wrongdoer still do wrong, and the filthy person still be made filthy; let the righteous person still practice righteousness, and the holy person still be made holy.”

“Look, I am coming soon, and I bring my reward with me to repay every person according to what their work has been.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that the tree of life will be theirs by right and they may go in through the gates into the city.

Outside are the dogs, those who practice sorcery, the sexually immoral, murderers, idol worshipers, and everyone who loves falsehood and practices it.

I, Jesus, sent my angel to bear witness to you about these things for the churches. I am the Root of David and his offspring, the shining morning star.”

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Everyone who hears should say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty should come, and whoever wishes should take the water of life as a free gift.

I bear witness to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy in this book: should anyone add to them, God will add to that person the plagues that are written in this book.

And should anyone remove anything from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will remove that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are written about in this book.

The one who bears witness to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with everyone.
