Exodus 26

Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made

Make the tabernacle with ten curtains of finely twisted linen and blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, with cherubim worked into them by a skilled craftsman.

Each curtain is to be twenty-eight cubits long and four cubits wide. All the curtains are to be the same size.

Five of the curtains are to be joined to one another, and the other five curtains are to be joined to one another.

Make loops of blue yarn along the edge of the end curtain in the first set, and do the same on the edge of the end curtain in the second set.

Make fifty loops on the one curtain, and make fifty loops on the edge of the end curtain in the second set, with the loops opposite each other.

Make fifty gold clasps and join the curtains to each other with the clasps, so that the tabernacle is a single whole.

Make curtains of goat hair for a tent over the tabernacle; make eleven curtains.

Each curtain is to be thirty cubits long and four cubits wide. All eleven curtains are to be the same size.

Join five of the curtains together by themselves and six of the curtains by themselves. Fold the sixth curtain double at the front of the tent.

Make fifty loops along the edge of the end curtain in one set, and fifty loops along the edge of the end curtain in the second set.

Make fifty bronze clasps and put the clasps into the loops to join the tent together, so that it is a single whole.

As for the part that remains of the tent curtains, the half curtain that is left over is to hang down over the back of the tabernacle.

The cubit on one side and the cubit on the other that remain in the length of the tent curtains are to hang over the sides of the tabernacle, on this side and that, to cover it.

Make a covering for the tent of ram skins dyed red, and over that a covering of fine leather.

Make upright frames of acacia wood for the tabernacle.

Each frame is to be ten cubits long and a cubit and a half wide.

Each frame is to have two pegs joined to each other. Make all the frames of the tabernacle in this way.

Make the frames for the tabernacle: twenty frames for the south side.

Make forty silver bases to go under the twenty frames, two bases under one frame for its two pegs, and two bases under the next frame for its two pegs.

For the second side of the tabernacle, the north side, make twenty frames

and their forty silver bases, two bases under one frame and two bases under the next frame.

For the far end of the tabernacle, toward the west, make six frames.

Make two frames for the corners of the tabernacle at the far end.

They are to be doubled at the bottom, and joined together at the top in a single ring. Both of them are to be made this way; they will form the two corners.

So there will be eight frames with their silver bases, sixteen bases, two bases under one frame and two bases under the next frame.

Make crossbars of acacia wood, five for the frames on one side of the tabernacle,

five crossbars for the frames on the other side of the tabernacle, and five crossbars for the frames on the far end of the tabernacle, toward the west.

The middle crossbar, halfway up the frames, is to run from one end to the other.

Overlay the frames with gold, and make gold rings for them to hold the crossbars. Overlay the crossbars with gold as well.

Set up the tabernacle according to the plan you were shown on the mountain.

Make a curtain of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen, with cherubim worked into it by a skilled craftsman.

Hang it on four posts of acacia wood overlaid with gold, with gold hooks, standing on four silver bases.

Hang the curtain under the clasps, and bring the ark of the testimony inside, behind the curtain. The curtain will separate the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place for you.

Put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the Most Holy Place.

Place the table outside the curtain, and put the lampstand opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle. Place the table on the north side.

For the entrance of the tent make a screen of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen, the work of an embroiderer.

Make five posts of acacia wood for the screen and overlay them with gold. Their hooks are to be gold, and cast five bronze bases for them.
