Lumin Translation
Zechariah 2
Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made
Then I looked up and saw a man with a measuring line in his hand.
I asked, “Where are you going?” He said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see how wide and how long it is.”
Then the angel who was speaking with me went out, and another angel came out to meet him.
He said to him, “Run and tell that young man, ‘Jerusalem will be inhabited like open villages without walls, because of the great number of people and animals in it.
And I myself will be a wall of fire around it, declares Yahweh, and I will be the glory within it.’”
Up! Up! Flee from the land of the north, declares Yahweh, for I have scattered you like the four winds of the heavens, declares Yahweh.
Up, Zion! Escape, you who live with Daughter Babylon.
For this is what Yahweh of Armies says: After the glory, he sent me to the nations that plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye.
For I am about to raise my hand against them, and they will become plunder for those who served them. Then you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me.
Sing and rejoice, Daughter Zion, for I am coming, and I will live among you, declares Yahweh.
Many nations will join themselves to Yahweh on that day and will become my people. I will live among you, and you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.
Yahweh will take possession of Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem.
Be silent, all people, before Yahweh, for he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.
