Zechariah 3

Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of Yahweh, and Satan standing at his right side to accuse him.

Yahweh said to Satan, “May Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! May Yahweh, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is this man not a burning stick snatched from the fire?”

Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel.

The angel said to those who were standing before him, “Take the filthy clothes off him.” Then he said to Joshua, “See, I have taken your guilt away from you, and I will clothe you in fine robes.”

Then I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him, while the angel of Yahweh stood by.

Then the angel of Yahweh solemnly charged Joshua:

“This is what Yahweh of Armies says: If you walk in my ways and keep my requirements, then you will govern my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you the right to come and go among these who are standing here.

Listen, Joshua the high priest, you and your companions who sit before you, for they are men who are a sign: I am going to bring my servant, the Branch.

Look at the stone I have set before Joshua! On that one stone are seven eyes. I am going to engrave an inscription on it, declares Yahweh of Armies, and I will remove the guilt of that land in a single day.

On that day, declares Yahweh of Armies, each of you will invite his neighbor to sit under his vine and under his fig tree.”
