Lumin Translation
Zechariah 4
Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made
Then the angel who was speaking with me came back and woke me, like someone who is awakened from sleep.
He asked me, “What do you see?” I answered, “I see a lampstand made entirely of gold, with a bowl on top of it and seven lamps on it, with seven pipes for each of the lamps on top of it.
There are also two olive trees beside it, one on the right of the bowl and one on its left.”
I asked the angel who was speaking with me, “What are these, my lord?”
The angel who was speaking with me answered, “Do you not know what these are?” I said, “No, my lord.”
Then he said to me, “This is the word of Yahweh to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by strength and not by power, but by my Spirit, says Yahweh of Armies.
Who are you, great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground. He will bring out the top stone amid shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”’”
Then the word of Yahweh came to me:
The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will finish it. Then you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.
For who has despised the day of small things? They will rejoice when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. These seven are the eyes of Yahweh, which range over the whole earth.
Then I asked him, “What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?”
Then I asked him a second time, “What are the two olive branches beside the two gold pipes that pour out the golden oil?”
He said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” I said, “No, my lord.”
So he said, “These are the two anointed ones who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth.”
