Isaiah 4

Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made

1On that day seven women will take hold of one man and say, “We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes; only let us be called by your name. Take away our disgrace!”

2On that day the branch of Yahweh will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and splendor of the survivors of Israel.

3Whoever is left in Zion and whoever remains in Jerusalem will be called holy—everyone in Jerusalem who is recorded among the living—

4when the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and cleansed the bloodstains of Jerusalem from within her by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of burning.

5Then over the whole site of Mount Zion and over her assemblies Yahweh will create a cloud by day and smoke, and the glow of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory there will be a canopy.

6It will be a shelter to give shade by day from the heat, and a refuge and hiding place from storm and rain.
