Isaiah 62

Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made

For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes out like brightness, and her salvation like a blazing torch.

The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of Yahweh will give.

You will be a crown of beauty in the hand of Yahweh, a royal diadem in the palm of your God.

You will no longer be called Forsaken, and your land will no longer be called Desolate; but you will be called My Delight Is in Her, and your land Married; for Yahweh delights in you, and your land will be married.

For as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons will marry you; and as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you.

On your walls, Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen; all day and all night they will never be silent. You who remind Yahweh, take no rest,

and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes it the praise of the earth.

Yahweh has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: “I will never again give your grain as food for your enemies, and foreigners will not drink the new wine for which you have labored.

But those who harvest it will eat it and praise Yahweh, and those who gather it will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.”

Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people! Build up, build up the highway! Clear it of stones! Raise a banner for the peoples!

See, Yahweh has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to daughter Zion, “See, your salvation comes; see, his reward is with him, and his recompense goes before him.”

They will be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of Yahweh; and you will be called Sought After, a City Not Forsaken.
