Lumin Translation
Psalm 12
Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made
For the choir director. According to the sheminith. A psalm of David.
1Save, Yahweh, for the faithful are gone; the loyal have vanished from among the human race.
2They speak lies to one another; with flattering lips and a double heart they speak.
3May Yahweh cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that speaks boastfully,
4those who say, “With our tongues we will prevail; our lips are our own. Who is master over us?”
5“Because the afflicted are plundered and the needy groan, now I will rise up,” says Yahweh. “I will place them in the safety they long for.”
6The words of Yahweh are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times.
7You, Yahweh, will keep them; you will guard him from this generation forever.
8The wicked strut about on every side when what is vile is prized among the human race.
