Lumin Translation
Psalm 32
Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made
Of David. A maskil.
1Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2Blessed is the person to whom Yahweh does not count guilt, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.
3As long as I stayed silent, my bones wore away with my groaning the whole day through.
4For your hand weighed on me day and night; my strength was drained away as in summer’s drought. Selah.
5I let you know my sin; I did not hide my guilt. I said, “To Yahweh I will confess my transgressions,” and you took away the guilt of my sin. Selah.
6So every faithful one should pray to you at a time when you can be found; then, when great waters overflow, they will not reach him.
7You are a place for me to hide; you guard me from distress; you encircle me with glad cries of rescue. Selah.
8I will make you wise and teach you the path to take; I will give you counsel, keeping my eye on you.
9Do not be like a horse or a mule that has no sense; its harness of bit and bridle is needed to hold it back, or it will not approach you.
10The wicked have many pains, but whoever trusts in Yahweh is surrounded by steadfast love.
11Be joyful in Yahweh and exult, you righteous ones; raise glad shouts, all whose hearts are upright!
