Psalm 65

Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made

For the choir director. A psalm of David. A song.

To you, God, silence is praise in Zion, and to you vows will be fulfilled.

You who hear prayer, to you all people will come.

When deeds of guilt overwhelm me, you make atonement for our transgressions.

Blessed is the one you choose and bring near to dwell in your courts! We will be satisfied with the good things of your house, your holy temple.

With awesome deeds you answer us in righteousness, God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas,

who set the mountains in place by his power, clothed with strength,

who calms the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the uproar of the peoples.

Those who live at the ends of the earth are in awe of your signs; you make the lands of sunrise and sunset shout for joy.

You care for the land and water it; you greatly enrich it; the stream of God is full of water. You provide people with grain, for so you have prepared the land.

You drench its furrows and level its ridges; you soften it with showers and bless its growth.

You crown the year with your goodness, and your paths overflow with abundance.

The pastures of the wilderness overflow, and the hills are clothed with joy.

The meadows are clothed with flocks, and the valleys are covered with grain; they shout for joy; yes, they sing.
