Lumin Translation
Psalm 33
Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made
Shout for joy in Yahweh, you righteous! Praise is fitting for the upright.
Give thanks to Yahweh with the lyre; make music to him on the ten-stringed harp.
Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, with shouts of joy.
For the word of Yahweh is right, and all his work is done in faithfulness.
He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of Yahweh.
By the word of Yahweh the heavens were made, and all their host by the breath of his mouth.
He gathers the waters of the sea as in a heap; he puts the deeps into storehouses.
Let all the earth fear Yahweh; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.
Yahweh brings the plans of the nations to nothing; he frustrates the purposes of the peoples.
The plans of Yahweh stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.
Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people he has chosen as his own inheritance.
Yahweh looks down from heaven; he sees the whole human race.
From the place where he sits enthroned he watches all who live on the earth,
he who forms the hearts of them all, who understands everything they do.
No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior is rescued by great strength.
A horse is a false hope for victory; for all its great strength it cannot save.
But the eye of Yahweh is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love,
to rescue their souls from death and keep them alive in famine.
We wait for Yahweh; he is our help and our shield.
For our heart rejoices in him, because we trust in his holy name.
Let your steadfast love be on us, Yahweh, as we put our hope in you.
