1Those who trust in Yahweh are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but remains forever.
2As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Yahweh surrounds his people, from now on and forever.
3For the scepter of wickedness will not rest on the land allotted to the righteous, so that the righteous will not reach out their hands to do wrong.
4Do good, Yahweh, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts.
5But those who turn aside to their crooked ways, Yahweh will lead them away with those who do evil. Peace be on Israel!
