Psalm 14

Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made

For the choir director. Of David.

1The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt; their deeds are detestable; there is no one who does good.

2Yahweh looks down from heaven on the human race to see if there is anyone who understands, anyone who seeks God.

3They have all turned away; together they have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.

4Do they know nothing, all who do wrong, who devour my people as they eat bread and do not call on Yahweh?

5There they are, overwhelmed with terror, for God is with the generation of the righteous.

6You would frustrate the plans of the afflicted, but Yahweh is their refuge.

7Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When Yahweh restores the fortunes of his people, Jacob will rejoice, Israel will be glad.
