Lumin Translation
Psalm 53
Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made
For the choir director. According to mahalath. A maskil of David.
1The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt; their injustice is detestable; there is no one who does good.
2God looks down from heaven on the human race to see if there is anyone who understands, anyone who seeks God.
3They have all turned back; together they have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.
4Do they know nothing, all who do wrong, who devour my people as they eat bread and do not call on God?
5There they are, overwhelmed with terror, where there was nothing to fear, for God has scattered the bones of those who besieged you; you have put them to shame, for God has rejected them.
6Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God restores the fortunes of his people, Jacob will rejoice, Israel will be glad.
