Psalm 135
Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made
Hallelujah! Praise the name of Yahweh; praise him, you servants of Yahweh,
you who stand in the house of Yahweh, in the courts of the house of our God.
Hallelujah, for Yahweh is good! Sing praises to his name, for it is delightful.
For Yah has chosen Jacob for himself, Israel as his treasured possession.
For I know that Yahweh is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
Whatever Yahweh pleases, he does, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all the depths.
He makes the clouds rise from the ends of the earth; he makes lightning for the rain and brings the wind out of his storehouses.
He struck down the firstborn of Egypt, of both people and animals.
He sent signs and wonders into your midst, Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants.
He struck down many nations and killed mighty kings:
Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan.
He gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people.
Yahweh, your name endures forever, your renown, Yahweh, through all generations.
For Yahweh will vindicate his people and have compassion on his servants.
The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of human hands.
They have mouths, but they do not speak; they have eyes, but they do not see.
They have ears, but they do not hear, and there is no breath in their mouths.
Those who make them will become like them, and so will everyone who trusts in them.
House of Israel, bless Yahweh! House of Aaron, bless Yahweh!
House of Levi, bless Yahweh! You who fear Yahweh, bless Yahweh!
Blessed be Yahweh from Zion, he who dwells in Jerusalem. Hallelujah!
