Lumin Translation
Psalm 127
Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made
A song of ascents. Of Solomon.
1Unless Yahweh builds the house, its builders labor over it in vain. Unless Yahweh guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
2It is in vain that you rise up early and stay up late, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives his beloved sleep.
3Look, children are a heritage from Yahweh, the fruit of the womb a reward.
4Like arrows in a warrior’s hand are the children of one’s youth.
5Blessed is the man who has filled his quiver with them! They will not be put to shame when they speak with their enemies in the gate.
