Lumin Translation
Psalm 142
Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made
A maskil of David, when he was in the cave. A prayer.
1With my voice I cry out to Yahweh; with my voice I plead with Yahweh for mercy.
2I pour out my complaint before him; I tell him all my trouble.
3When my spirit grows faint within me, you are the one who knows my way. On the path where I walk they have hidden a trap for me.
4Look to my right and see: there is no one who takes notice of me. There is no refuge left for me; no one cares for my life.
5I cry out to you, Yahweh; I say, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.”
6Listen to my cry, for I am brought very low. Rescue me from those who pursue me, for they are too strong for me.
7Bring me out of prison, so that I may give thanks to your name. The righteous will gather around me, because you will deal generously with me.
