Psalm 3
Lumin Translation 2.0 checked against the Hebrew and Greek How it was made
A psalm of David, when he fled from his son Absalom.
1Yahweh, how many my enemies have become! Many are rising up against me.
2Many are saying about me, “There is no salvation for him in God.” Selah.
3But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
4I cry aloud to Yahweh, and he answers me from his holy mountain. Selah.
5I lay down and slept; I woke again, for Yahweh sustains me.
6I will not fear the tens of thousands of people who have taken their stand against me on every side.
7Rise up, Yahweh! Save me, my God! For you strike all my enemies on the cheek; you break the teeth of the wicked.
8Salvation belongs to Yahweh. May your blessing be on your people. Selah.
